Claire was a fall fairy, more pictures of her below.
James was thrilled to star as Mickey Mouse. The smiles didn't come until the candy started rolling in. He was in heaven once he started downing the lollipops. He ate candy for the full 2.5 hours of trick-or-treating, plus a half-hour after getting home.
Claire decorating the table for our fancy Halloween supper of mac-n-cheese. She was sick and couldn't go to school so we had a Halloween party at home for her.
Everyone enjoyed carving pumpkins. Even James wanted to carve his baby pumpkin.
James' favorite thing to do in the front yard is ride down the neighbors driveway. Thrill-seeker already.
Isn't this leaf amazing? I took about twenty pictures of it to try and capture the colors. This picture doesn't do it justice.

I have to say those costumes fit each one perfectly - dainty little girls as fairies and a little mouse with cheeks you want to chew on! That leaf is crazy, it looks as if it didn't know what color it was supposed to turn and did a bit of each! Nature is astounding!
I love the pictures. Gary was playing out in the leaves yesterday and had tons of fun. If only we could always enjoy the simple pleasures of kids! And I hear you on the thrill-seeking boys. I think Gary's favorite things to do right now is to climb, by swung around, hang upside down and who knows what other crazy things! We should get those two boys together...or...maybe we shouldn't. =)
That leaf is crazy! So cool!
Cute cute costumes. How was James's sugar crash the next day? :)
Oh how I miss huge piles of leaves to jump in!
I LOVE the costumes! I agree with Tionna! The costumes fit them! They looked great! You are such an awesome mom. The party for Claire at home was a great idea! I bet it made her feel so special!
